Both of the visits were very successful. A presentation titled "Print is (not) boring" by Eddy Hagen, director of VIGC.be, formed an extra dimension to these informative days.
EBDA welcomes first non-European member: Oriental Press Bahrain and Dubai
Oriental Press was established in Bahrain in 1952 doing commercial printing. It has grown over the years in size and variety of activities to include packaging, security printing, continuous stationary, books and digital printing.

European Business Document Association Announce New President
During the last Annual meeting in Luzern, the EBDA board has elected a new president to replace Robert Pierce and EBDA is pleased to announce that Henning Borek has been elected as new president. Henning is CEO of Borek Kommunikation, a data management, variable data printing and logistics company in Braunschweig, Germany.
EBDA is also pleased to welcome Guido Blansjaar as a new board member. Guido is CEO of BL-Blockfabrik AG in Switzerland. The two other board members are Alain Flament (SOLIMP s.a. France), association treasurer and Hans Willems, EBDA secretary.
The new board wants to increase the number of its members and invites all, who are interested to join this international association.
